Is Salva HIPAA-aligned?+
Salva is built on a HIPAA-aligned architecture — AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit, with additional field-level encryption for stored integration credentials, row-level access controls, U.S.-only data residency, and audited webhook signing. What if I'm not on Open Dental?+
You can still use everything. Salva captures the booking on the call or chat, routes it to your Inbox with the patient's name, contact, and requested time, and your team enters it into Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Curve, or your paper book in your normal flow. Same AI, same dashboard, same alerts — no PMS integration required.
Do I have to port my phone number?+
No. Salva uses simple call forwarding. Patients still dial the same number you've always published — the carrier forwards those calls straight to Salva, so your office line doesn't ring. Outbound calls from your office still work normally. Every plan also includes a backup Twilio number you can publish if you prefer. See the setup guide for your carrier's *72 sequence.
Can I cancel any time?+
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Plan changes and cancellation are self-serve through the Stripe billing portal in your Dashboard. Annual plans get a ~20% discount but otherwise have identical features.
